People begin
to pay attention to a name of "Bae Yongjune" through this
drama.
Although he was just a new face, not too widely recognized actor,
in the beginning of the drama, he made a stronger impression than
Inbum, the main character, in the end.
His character, Sukjue, has grown up
in an envied environment in an affluent family with guaranteed successful
future. He is, however, a courageous man, who would give up everything
in order to pursue his own dream of life. When he enters college majoring
in business management, he appears to follow his father¡¯s wish to
inherit family business. Being a movie fanatic, however, he disobeys
his father's wish as returns home after studying abroad as a movie
director. After undergoing conflicts with his father, he eventually
makes peace with his father as he finds out his father¡¯s secret.
Sukjue is considerate enough to warmly
embrace Inbum, who, for his own ambition, intentionally has approached
Sukjue, telling lies and abandoning his lover. He also persuaded Inbum
to go back to his lover, despite his engagement to his twin sister,
Sukrahn.
Although there are scenes of fresh
and cute love affair between Sukjue and Chonghee, a writer acted by
Jun Doyun, it is too bad that they do not receive much weight in the
drama. The character, Ha Sukjue, is on the extension of a tender man
as was Kim Yungmin in Salut d¡¯Amour (Love Greeting). Sukjue is, however,
somewhat different from Yungmin as the former is bolder than the latter,
fulfilling his own dream in the end, despite their common personalities
of indecisiveness.

Bae Yongjune
plays this one act drama as he has a brief reunion with Jun Doyun,
who was his counterpart in A Sunny Place of the Young. After acting
as a movie director and a writer in A Sunny Place of the Young, they
meet as a physician and a patient, respectively, in this drama.
Bae Yongjune acts Kyungmin, a psychiatrist,
who lives on as he keeps a memory of painful separation from his lover.
While he is unable to forget his fiancee for one and a half year,
following her tragic death from a traffic accident just before their
wedding, Kyungmin meets Juneyung, who tries to commit suicide as her
boyfriend has betrayed her.
As he feels empathy with her as both
have separated from their lovers, Kyungmin encounters her accidentally,
following her discharge from the hospital and begins "six steps
toward a separation" from their lovers, as suggested by Juneyung.
They are speaking ill of their lovers, breaking up their memories,
feeling bodily pain, forgiving, meeting a new man (woman), and leaving
it to the fate. As they go through each step of separation together,
a new bud of love starts blooming between them.
